Predictions

So far in my book Caroline's mother has dementia and she has to care for her most of the time once a week hospice comes in to help her and give her a little time. Now Caroline is forced with the decision of putting her mother in a care facility far away but with much better care, one near by with not as good care, or care for her all on her own and risk her mother getting injuries. I think that Caroline will eventually decide that putting her in a care facility a bit farther away is better that having her at home and having the chance off her getting her self injured or someone else. Also Janie, one of Caroline's good friends, hears about her husband ex wife. Her husband Victor tells her that his ex wife called a couple of week ago and she has split up with her latest husband. She also lets him know that she thinks that god is telling her that they should get back together. Both Victor and Janie and in shock after receiving this news. Victor doesn't seem to have many feeling toward Janie and doesn't seem to mind that his ex wife wants to live with them. On the other hand Janie is quite upset about all this and tries to hide it and act like she doesn't mind. I think that something will happen and Janie and Victor will get divorced. The part I am at right now is Caroline and Janie talking about there recent dilemma's. How do you think each friend will react to each others problems?

Why I Chose it

The book I chose to read is called All For One by Melody Carlson. When I was looking for a book and picked up this book it really stood out to me because it is about for women who were best friends when they were little and now they are all back in their hometown and reunite after many years. I can also connect to one of the characters by just reading the back. it says that on of the friends has a mother with Alzheimer's disease. My grandpa has Alzheimer's and I can really relate to what she is going through and taking care of her. I also thought it was interesting how all of them have their own problems but they come together and help each other even though they have rough times of there own. I think that in the end they will some how figure out all the problem and really be there for each other. I also think that these women will realize how important friendship is.

Most Important Quote Fahrenheit 451

There is one quote that stood out to me from the first section of the book, Fahrenheit 451. The quote is "'No, Millie, no! Wait! Stop it, will you? You dont know... stop it!' he slapped her face grabbing her again and shook her. She said his name and began to cry. ' Millie!' he said. ' Listen. Give me  a second, will you? We can't do anything. We can't burn these. I want to look at them, at least look at them once. Then if what the captian says is true, we'll burn them together, believe me, we'll burn them together. You must help me.' he said." I think this quote is very importnant to the story because this is when Montag starts going against the government and reads book and has books in his ventilator. This is a symbol of Montag questioning and wondering about the government and why they do things like this. Clarisse is the one who started Montag questioning because she was telling him how she heard in the past firemen put out fire and didnt start fires and burn houses down. If Montag never met Clarisse the book would be completely different. The quote also leads us to the rest of the book because it is sort of giving the reader hints about what might happen to Montag and Mildred and if the government finds that Montag was hiding and reading books. This really proves what kind of person Montag is and how he feels about his career/job. i thought it was interesting that it says that he slapped Mildred because this is just another way of proving he isn't in love with her really at all.
